Studio YK is a Bellingham-based architecture firm that specializes in high-performance, bespoke building design that is infused with character. We believe that good architecture is in the details; it must be intentional and must thoughtfully connect its inhabitants to their environment.

To us, the best part of design is the collaboration with our clients and in spending the time to get the details right. Whether we are working on a custom home, remodel, or commercial project, finding the perfect solution brings us immense joy.

Kristin received her BArch from Cal Poly, SLO and is a licensed architect in Washington as well as a Certified Passive House Consultant. She lived, studied and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark for a year, and her time in Scandinavia significantly impacts her design sensibility. She is interested in introducing textiles to architecture, loves to recreate outside, and loves a good cappuccino.
